Dr. Shivani Patel received her degree from the University of Washington and practiced within the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialty for many years. There she gained experience diagnosing and managing complex hearing losses; caused by illness, disease, surgery and/or genetics. While she loved the variety of working in such a busy environment, she craved more one-on-one time with patients. In 2019 she started Clear Hearing and Audiology to bring more time and flexibility to her patients' visits as well as her personal life.

Lin Kowitz, AuD, F-AAA

Dr. Lin Kowitz earned her degree from the University of Florida and has since established herself as a highly skilled Clinical Audiologist in both Washington State and Gold Coast, Australia. As an active fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), she remains dedicated to keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements and methodologies within Audiology. Dr. Kowitz is passionate about delivering exceptional, personalized care that caters to each patient's specific needs and preferences. Her ultimate goal is to make a significant, positive impact on their overall well-being.

Jaida Sproed, AuD, CCC-A

Dr. Jaida Sproed was awarded her Au.D. by the University of Utah. Her clinical training was diverse, giving her the opportunity to provide hearing and balance care for patients across the age spectrum in a variety of clinical settings including schools, non-profit hospitals, and the Veterans Affairs. She is passionate about patient advocacy and strongly believes in fostering a collaborative relationship with her patients to best help them achieve their hearing and communication goals.

Dr. Jaimie Ferrara received her degree from Western Washington University. With extensive experience across various settings—including hospitals, educational institutions, and private practices—she has excelled in providing comprehensive audiological care for all ages. Passionate about enhancing the quality of life through improved auditory health, she ensures that each individual’s needs and preferences are at the forefront of their care.

Janet Balch - Patient Care Coordinator

Janet is a Seattle native who was drawn to the audiology field by her love for people. With a background in the beauty industry and natural wellness she has always been eager to help encourage those around her to care for themselves and each other. She loves helping audiologists care for their patients in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Skylar Mitchell, Audiology Assistant

Skylar is a fourth-year student at the University of Washington, majoring in Speech & Hearing Sciences. She will graduate in June and is in the process of applying to clinical doctorate programs in audiology. Skylar loves helping people and because of this, she finds the field of audiology particularly rewarding and is eager to learn even more as she progresses through her studies and clinical practicums.
